What is IRNSS?

IRNSS stands for ‘Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System’ and provides service to India and surrounding areas. The full constellation of seven satellites is deployed in 2015. The IRNSS system provides a position accuracy of more than 10 meters throughout India and better than 20 meters for the area surrounding the country, by 1500 kilometers.
