mapit GIS – Spatial Asset Collection, GNSS Surveys and Data Management for Android, now working seamlessly with the UNI-GRX to get you going in the most challenging environments.

Mapit is a professional, cost effective mapping and surveying tool. It is designed to enhance productivity while you are out there in the field. The app supports common file formats for input and output and is capable to work with professional GNSS receivers like the UNI-GRx. That way you can get a centimetre level accuracy when you need to. Design your survey forms, organise data on layers, work offline with MbTiles base-maps, access WMS services, use GNSS tracking to capture your line and polygon features, record GNSS metadata and much more. The app is widely used by professionals around the world and can be easily adopted for different applications from agriculture and forestry to road construction, geology, land surveying and solar panel solutions.

Being cost-effective is also one of the goals of marXact and that is why we are proud to share the news that the UNI works seamlessly with mapit GIS! Just download the app from the Google Play store on to your Android device, connect to the UNI hrough Bluetooth and get going with CM accurate mapping and surveying!

Watch the short tutorial video that shows you how to connect the UNI with Mapit GIS. Turn on the subtitle for a concrete description.

Apart from the current Bluetooth support, we are working with the mapit GIS team on implementing the complete UNI-Cloud functionality in the android app, making sure you can not only get your positioning through the cloud but also export your logs to your well known UNI-Cloud environment. This way, you can do the work outside while your colleagues at the office immediately pick up where you left off.
