How do I achieve centimetre accuracy with the UNI?

In order to get centimetre accuracy with the UNI, you need to make use of the RTK technique for on the go centimeter accuracy or post-processing for centimetre accuracy at a later stage. Both methods are supported by the UNI, RTK corrections can be provided with UNI-RTK Premium.

If the + button in UNI Collect is greyed out when you try to record a point, you haven't reached the accuracy level selected in your project settings. UNI Collect blocks adding elements until you do. Check the following:

Location source. Check the top right corner of UNI Collect. Is a UNI-GRx selected? If not, tap the UNI button and connect via Wi-Fi to the UNI. If the middle button is selected instead, you're using the tablet's own location, which isn't accurate enough for surveying.

Still not accurate enough while connected to a UNI? Tap the location icon in the top right corner again and select UNI-Connect. This opens the device's configuration page, also reachable in a browser at 192.168.27.1 . In UNI Collect, tapping this opens an in-app window leading to the settings. Under Location > Edit, check whether NTRIP settings are configured for RTK Premium or another RTK service. If not, and you've purchased UNI-RTK Premium, contact support — we can help with configuration and credentials.
