What are satellite orbits?

An orbit is a repeating path that the satellite takes in space and around the earth. There are thousands of GNSS satellites orbiting around the earth that have a crucial part in the GNSS system technology. Part of these GNSS systems are GPS, Glonass, Galileo, and BeiDou. Satellites that move around the earth are not small, as you might think. A satellite weights more than 1400 KG, which is a lot more than a Volkswagen Golf car. The orbits are made to fly above our heads with several kilometers per second.

The UNI receives signals from GPS, Glonass, Galileo, BeiDou and more!
