What is a GNSS receiver?

A GNSS receiver is a device that is capable of receiving GNSS signals in order to determine your (exact) location. GNSS receivers come in all kinds of shapes and sizes and different accuracies. In general, GNSS receivers are divided into three classes; recreational, mapping and survey grade receivers. The UNI is a survey grade GNSS receiver, which means it can achieve centimetre accuracy.
