Using the 4G-upgrade

Be advised; the steps below can only be executed when the UNI-software has the correct version, the 4G-upgrade will not function without it. Make sure that the software version of UNI-Connect is the same as or higher than 2.9.0 and the coprocessor version is 1.42. The version and update possibilities can be found in UNI-Connect by navigating to “Settings” and then “Update”. For further update instructions, please go to http://marxact.com/update.

1.      Check if the UNI is turned on. If so, turn it off first.

2.      Place the UNI upside down on a table.

3.      Open the card compartment by lifting the metal pin and turning it one quarter.

4.      Take the SIM card out of the UNI, this is the tiny white chip. You can easily remove the SIM card by using the accompanied          tool. 

5.      Close the card compartment by placing the lid back in its place. 

6.      Open the lid of the 4G-upgrade by sliding the back downward. 

7.      Place the SIM card in its designated slot for the 4G-upgrade and close the lid afterwards. You can open the simcard slot by sliding it downward. 

8.      Connect the 4G-upgrade to the Micro-USB port on the UNI.

9.      For optimal comfort, place the 4G-upgrade between the screw opening and the bumps on the bottom of the UNI.

10.   Turn the UNI back on.

11.   Enjoy your free of charge hardware upgrade, easily surveyed points, and better user experience!
